#BestLife

The 2nd quarter is officially over. For the past few days, I have been thinking about writing a good blog entry.

I would like to share my awesome travel experience. Initially, my travel plans should start from Bangkok. However, I decided to halt it because of security purposes. I started my trip to Siem Reap. I visited the World Heritage, Angkor Wat and the rest of the temples and ate a lot of delicious local food there. After few days, I went to Phnom Penh and I roamed around the city.

On the 2nd week of my trip,  I went to Ho Chi Minh and I met new friends there. They're nice and cool. We visited the War Museum and Mekong Delta. We had fun.

Ho Chi Minh City

My trip to Ho Chi Minh was awesome because I was able to relax and know more about the people there. I rode in the bus from Phnom Penh and I dropped my bags off to the hostel in District 1. On the first day, I began exploring the city and I went to the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, the Post Office, War Museum and Ben Thanh Market.

On the second day of my trip, I went to the temple and Cu Chi tunnels.

During my trip, I met nice and great people. They are now my new friends.

Angkor Silk Farm

Angkor Silk Farm is one of the most scenic countryside in Cambodia. During my free guided tour, I learned about the meticulous process of silk-making from different kind of mulberry trees. According to the tour guide, the best silks are produced if the worms are eating variety of mulberry leaves.

Amok - Khmer Food

Khmer food is very delicious because of the flavours are more subdued and are less spicy.

When I was touring in Siem Reap, Cambodia, I always prefer to eat amok. Amok is a fish which is mostly cooked with coconut milk, egg, peanuts and other local ingredients. This was served with steamed jasmine rice.
