Happy Birthday Jesus Christ

Today, I celebrated my first Christmas physically alone in a foreign country. Although, my landlord cooked food for me, I felt sadness. And early this evening before I headed back to my flat, Lira and I attended a midnight Christmas Mass in Bras Basah. The homily was great because it tackled the true spirit of Nativity. The church was filled by different people with different skin colours, class status but in the end of the Mass, I felt that we were just the same believer of Jesus Christ. 

Wishful Thinking

My friend and I went to Changi Airport early evening because we sent off our dearest friend. When we reached the airport I felt excitement as if I was the one who would go back to the Philippines. I have the feeling of melancholy because it is Christmas season and I miss my parents but in one way or another after drinking coffee I felt alleviated. After our friend checked-in, my friend and I decided to head back to our own places. Now, I have the illusion of traveling again and I hope to travel this coming first quarter of the year 2013.

This afternoon Lira, Patrick and I watched a hit multi-award winning musical at MasterCard Theatre, Marina Bay Sands. The story tells the true real-life story of how four poverty-line kids from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold million records internationally.

Punggol War Memorial

Two weeks ago, I went to the Punggol Memorial War Park, where a memorial plaque was laid by the National Heritage Board of Singapore. This place was a one of the bloodiest massacre site during the 2nd World War. This is located near Malaysia boarder. During World War II, the local villagers were massacred by Japanese troops.

This is the church where I always attend a mass ceremony to strengthen my faith with our beloved Jesus Christ.

Paranormal Stuff

Last Wednesday, I took the several pictures with a white background since these were needed for our profile picture in our office. So, I used my trainer's phone to grab it. The first picture wasn't good, so I took another one. While staring at the second photo, I noticed there was something wrong with it. Then I consulted my supervisor and my trainer about what I saw. Afterwards, they were shocked and got scared because they confirmed that what I saw, was a spirit captured in the camera phone. Almost everyone on the production area saw it. I was really terrified when someone also told me that one of our colleagues actually had experience before another unexplained story. Que susto, es la primera vez que he tenido mucho miedo. ayy yayay!!!

Lantern Festival 2012

The Lantern Festival is a traditional Chinese festival since Han   Dynasty more than 2000 years ago. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of family unity at a time of year when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. This is celebrated traditionally on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month when the moon is at its fullest and brightest.

To experience this kind of festival, I went to the Chinatown of Singapore last week.

My Waterway @ Punggol

He paseado por el parque de My Waterway @ Punggol esta mañana y cuando he llegado allí, todo parecía estar en orden. El sitio es muy limpio y tranquilo. Esa zona no tiene mucha gente que esta paseando o charlando porque el parque es muy nuevo. Al llegar allí, recuerdo mi niñez especialmente el tiempo que pasaba junto con mis padres.

1. Today marks exactly one year since I started this blog and also today marks my 7th day living in a foreign country. 

2. I met new friends with different nationalities, cultures, lifestyles and behaviour.

3. I miss my parents but I can say that I feel at home in my place because the community is very peaceful.

4. I miss my dearest friends from the Philippines.

5. This afternoon I moved out from my temporary residence and moved in my little kingdom.

Living Up In The City - Singapore

    I arrived in Singapore safely by Singapore Airline last Sunday afternoon. Yesterday,  I went to my new office for the contract signing and for the culture briefing. I also finished my medical checkup in Orchard Point. Today, I am waiting for the medical check-up result before I can start working. In the meantime, I am exploring the city and finding new residence.

    It is a great adventure to go here. So far, I start loving my new environment. :D

Throughout my everyday journey in Manila, I met different set of people and I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful friendship that you have given me. It was a beautiful and fantastic experience being with you all. Should I say, I loved it because it was a superb experience with my dearest friends. I know that everyone made sure to spend their precious time with me. Moreover, it was a good chance to socialize because I had fun talking with all of you. Once again, thank you so much. You are my perfect friends. You made me feel so comfortable and made all of us laugh with everyone's great jokes.

Although I experienced ups and downs, I survived and I enjoyed living in one of the best places in the world, Manila. I am proud to call it home because I lived my whole life here to the fullest but I need to move again experience the best life. When I left Batangas seven years ago for a work in Manila, I thought I wouldn't last and make it because I had so many negative impresion about the city yet now that I will be leaving this city, defenitely, I will miss it. Hopefully soon, I will be coming back here from time to time.

Volunteer @ Idente

Volunteering is awesome and fantastic! I have enjoyed being a volunteer at Idente. It has been more fun to build good relationship with other volunteer. Thus, the most rewarding thing about my volunteer experience so far is enjoying with my new found friends while doing our decision-making and brainstorming process. Aside from this, doing a charity work has been refreshing for me in many ways because it thought me so many values. These are the things I learned through my volunteer experience with Idente missionaries;

Sharing, Being Confident always, Better person, Happiness, Prudent, Patience, Self-restoration, Self-checking, Self-Awareness, Self-Realization, Selflessness, Accountability, Responsibility, Learning from others, Tranquility, Alertness, Assertiveness,  Acceptance, Life Balance, Do things moderately, Positive administration of feelings, Understand the life history of other people, Stay Focus, Affection, Beyond the limitation, Result Oriented, Goal Oriented, Do the best without Expectation.

Meanwhile, these are the Big NO NO NO when you help others; like Selfishness, Indifference, Disrespect, Persecution, Discrimination.

Whenever we do something, we have to ask questions from ourselves before volunteering like; what do you feel when helping others? What do you feel when you are improving the way of doing things? These are so important because we need to find the purpose why we help others.

The Phantom of the Opera - Manila tour

Last Sunday I had the privilege to watch the most awaited musical play here in the Philippines with my dearest friends, The Phantom of the Opera. The musical play which was a masterpiece of Andrew Lloyd Webber that started showing in Manila on August 25, 2012 and this has been extended until September 30 at the CCP Main Theater in Pasay, Manila's suburban. This is one of the longest running musical play in Broadway.

My friends and I enjoyed every act that was shown in this tremendous musical play. I was very delighted with my experience watching this well anticipated musical play. Moreover, the details of costumes, lighting and music were carefully chosen to add value to overall performance.

After I had the experience seeing the one greatest productions of The Phantom of the Opera, if will be given the chance, I will watch it in the US or London because I cant stop dreaming to go to watch there.

Trabajo Caritativo

La mayoría de nosotros recibimos muchas bendiciones día a día sin tener cuenta que ignoramos nuestra obligación a otra gente. Por otra parte, este articulo que quiero compatirles trata sobre mi experiencia personal y nuevo camino en la vida. Además, quiero que tengan en cuenta que esto no es una plataforma para presumir lo que estoy haciendo sino me gustaría invitarles a participar en nuestro trabajo para hacer algo distinto en su vida.

Mis amigos y yo somos voluntarios identes que es una parte de la Juventud Idente, la que es una fundación ecuménica, es decir está abierta para católicos y no. Ayudamos a los Misioneros Identes de Cristo Redentor en una Institución (congregación) misionera en un trabajo caritativo en diversas actividades. Nuestra meta es ayudar a los niños pobres para enseñarles buenos valores morales, catecismo y el arte que viven una zona deprimida en la cuidad de Quezon que es un suburbano de Manila, la capital metropolita de Filipinas. Los que nos enseñan distintas lecciones son niños de los obreros que trabajan dentro de la cuidad que ganan dinero menos de tres dólares al día. Ellos no tienen privilegios para educarles en un buen colegio. Aunque son pobres de los pobres, también tienen sus sueños de que algún día ellos puedan contribuir algo en su comunidad para aliviar su estado de vida en la pobreza.

Estoy muy agradecido porque cada domingo tengo una nueva experiencia cuando hago el trabajo caritativo. Pues, les cuento una experiencia buena que tuve cuando nuestro grupo estaba dando las clases a los niños, les pregunté sobre sus metas personales y me dijeron que ellos querían ser policía, actor, actriz, dependienta, médico, profesor, soldado etc. Cuando pregunté sobre lo que les gustarían ser, me di cuante que no sería imposible si hay bastante ayuda del gobierno filipino y de una organización no gobernamental. Asimismo, en aquel momento, me di cuenta que si fueramos a educarles bien ellos serían buenos recursos humanos, económicos y serían fuentes de la fe católica en el porvenir en este país, los que podrían continuar nuestra misión para dar lecciones a los niños en el futuro. Además, me respondieron que necetarían ayuda para cumplir sus sueños y en cambio irían a devolver las gracias en su comunidad.

Ahora, me doy cuenta que compartir las bendiciones que recibimos desde Nuestro Dios es muy importante. Al hacerlo, esa acción nos da más inspiración a nosotros mismos para continuar con la meta de nuestra vida y en ello,  podemos dar otra oportunidad a las personas para convivir en sus sueños aunque ellos no tienen recurso suficiente. Aunque experimentamos muchos desfíos día tras día, continuamos haciendo nuestra misión  de ayuda a los niños porque creemos que los niños serán buenos ciudadanos con talentos nuestro país.

Admito que muchas veces solo pienso en mí mismo sin hacer caso a alguien. Sé que el dinero en importante cuando trabajamos pero a veces tenemos que sacrificar para ayudar a los demás sin esperar a cambio de algo desde ellos. Yo trabajo sin recibir algo porque deseo realizar y cumplir el mandamiento de nuestro Dios para ser benevolente como un católico/cristiano.

H2O = Agua, Water, Tubig

Water gives life to million species on earth. It has a chemical formula H2O which contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds. Our planet consists of 80% of water and we can only drink 3% of it, from 3% of drinkable liquid, 2% of them can be found in North and South poles and 1% is the water we enjoy to drink everyday.

According to the website of www.interestingfactsnow.com, we feel lighter or our body is getting lighter after conducting exercise because we lose our water supply while we are exercising. Exercise does not instantly remove our fat however many of us have a wrong perception about this.

I would like to share with you the video clip about the experiment of Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese author of the book Messages from Water. He explained in his writing about the effect of water to human life.

Water Festival

San Juan! San Juan! Basaan!, Philippines. The water festival is being celebrated during the Feast of San Juan Bautista or Saint John the Baptist. It is celebrated every June 24 by dousing and sprinkling of water or by family excursion to the beach or riverside. www.lakbaypilipinas.com

Songkran Festival, Thailand. It is the most celebrated festivity in Thailand that starts from April 13 and ends between 3 & 10 days - depending on where you are in Thailand. The word Songkran is from the Sanskrit meaning the beginning of a new Solar Year. The Thai people celebrate this festival with water. Everyone gets soaking wet and since it is the hottest season of the year, the custom is quite refreshing. Songkran is a Public Spring Cleaning Day, supported by the religious belief that anything old and useless must be thrown away or it will bring bad luck to the owner. During the afternoon of the 13th, Buddha images are bathed as part of the ceremony. Young people pour scented water into the hands of elders and parents as a mark of respect while seeking the blessing of the older people. In ancient days, old people were actually given a bath and clothed in new apparel presented by the young folks as a token of respect for the New Year. www.journeymart.com

Omizutori, Japan. The annual sacred Water-Drawing festival, is a Japanese Buddhist festival that takes place in Japan. The festival is the final rite in observance of the two week-long Shuni-e ceremony. This ceremony is to cleanse the people of their sins as well as to usher in the spring of the New Year. Once the Omizutori is completed, the cherry blossoms have started blooming and spring has arrived. www.jnto.go.jp

Fiesta del Agua or Festa de Agua, Spain. The Water Festival is being held in Villagarcía de Arousa, on the coast of Pontevedra, Galicia. It started during a blazing hot 16th August in the mid-1980s during festivities in honor of the town’s patron saint, San Roque. Nowadays, the Minister of National Tourism recognised as the Fiesta del Agua, or Festa de Agua in the Galician language, attracts tens of thousands to the town every year, as the crowds in the streets delight in getting thoroughly soaked. www.typicallyspanish.com

A Walk to Remember - Binondo tour

Last Monday morning, Christina, Brian and I went to the district of Binondo to walk around and to catch up with the latest happenings in ourselves. As usual Brian was very passionate telling stories about his family. And of course Christina and I were delighted with his stories. To cut the story short, we had a blast from our tour.

I personally love Binondo district because it has a good place to dine authentic Chinese cuisine. Well, this place is considered as one of the oldest Chinatown in the world and it was established in 1594 when the Spaniards excluded them to reside from the gated walls of Intramuros.

If you will go there, you can also buy cheap imported fruits, vegetables and noodles. You can be a picky buyer because there are so many choices.

How to Get to Chinatown in Binondo Manila via MRT & LRT? If you're riding the MRT, take it all the way to the Taft-EDSA station, go through the Metropoint Mall to get to the LRT 1 EDSA Station and the fare will be a flat rate of 15 php. Make sure you get off Carriedo station LRT 1.

¿Tú adónde irás, Lucía?

Lucía estaba ahí. Juan no sabía qué hacer y lo primero que se le ocurrió fue ofrecerle algo de beber, entonces le preguntó a Lucía que le pasaba. Le respondió que  quería divorciarse de él. Juan intentó recuperar y le juró que jamás volvería a tener mujer a quien amara demasiado. Juan quería empezar de cero pero Lucía se lo negó porque según ella hiciera lo que hiciera por recuperarlo acabaría nuevamente en fracaso. Cuando discutían sus hijos llegaban a la habitación.

De pronto, Lucía miró fijamente a Juan y adoptó un semblante de preocupación porque sus hijos estaban mirandoles. Miraban entre ellos como si no hubiera pasado nada pero después de pocos minutos sus hijos lloraron porque sabían que hubo algo que no entendían.

Ellos siempre sonreían en ese tipo de momentos cuando sus hijos llegaban a su casa después de asistir la clase en escuela y disfrutaban cada segundo de sus vidas con ellos. Sin embargo, en aquel momento Juan no supo qué decir a sus hijos que su madre decidió divorciarse de él. Fue entonces que todo se aclaró cuando Lucía contó a sus hijos sus planes de divorcio. Aunque ella no sabía donde se iría a vivir pero se marchó de su casa junto con sus hijos. Por fin después de divorciarse con él, Lucía vivía feliz mientras Juan sufró mucho en su vida.

If I Walk Away - Josh Groban

36th Milo Marathon Elimination, Manila

First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me enough strength today.

Despite it was raining yesterday, most of the runners weren't discourage to run in the 36th Milo Marathon Elimination here in Manila. I believe that rainy weather doesn't mean that you have to cancel joining the race except if there will be a storm.

It was my very first time to run the 21K category and I thought I would never be able to finish but I did it. Althought I never finished it on time I never cared at all since my goal was different from others. 

I would like to congratulate all Milo Finishers. Good job to all runners.

Idioma Indonesio

Ayer mi amigo chino me invitó a asistir en su graduación del idioma indonesio aquí en Manila. La celebración fue maravillosa y conocí mucha gente que le gustan distintas culturas también. Pues mientras mi amigo estaba asistiendo su graduación, tomé la oportunidad de visitar un pequeño museo de la embajada de Indonesia y saqué las fotografías.

Me prometí a mi mismo que algún día que yo aprendería el idioma indonesio.

Workshop at Idente - Art of Paper Cutting

I support a charity organization by helping Catholic missionaries in various activities. Our programs and projects are helping the poor children by teaching them good moral values, catechism and art. This institution is Idente, which was founded by Fernando Rielo in 1959 on the island of Tenerife, Spain and it is now headquarter in Rome, Italy. 

Our group wanted to learn more knowledge on how we can improve ourselves in teaching the children, so one of our volunteers invited Ms. Sinag de Leon to help us. She thought us to make design out of colored papers. By the way, she is one of the best artists when it comes to paperworks here in the Philippines. She was also featured in different newspapers, magazines and blogs who promote art through paper. She is also a triathlete. Yesterday, I had the chance to meet her in our mini workshop.

You can't give what you don't have.

Three years of hard work and commitment to deliver nothing but the best! Another year went by and it's time for another celebration. Last July 14, 2012 our account celebrated its third year anniversary. I was very happy during my stay in our account because I met true friends who were happy to share their precious time with me. Though, most of the time it's not an easy job to work nights and it required me a lot of hard work but it is very fulfilling and rewarding when I can share my blessings to my family. 

There was a moment that I felt tumultuous feelings. I experienced more challenges day by day and although my world was shaken with a minor or major blow. I was able to maintain my composure under various circumstances. Moreover, I understand this is part of growing up but I learned to manage to do things with patience. I became more resilient, tolerant and understating to adjust from people around me.

During the event I received few goodies, gifts and certificate from the higher management to show their appreciation for my extra mile performance. 

Lastly, I would like to thank my friends and family who keep cheering me up everyday.

Por ejemplo, la semana que viene, habrá una ganga de billetes en la feria de aerolíneas en Travel Madness Expo 2012 que estará en SMX Convention Center el distrito de Pasay, Metro Manila. Este será el momento perfecto para reservar un viaje a finales de este año.

Por otro lado, podéis ir fuera de temporada. No sólo vais a ahorrar mucho dinero, sino también los lugares no estarán demasiado llenos de gente. Podéis hacer tus viajes mucho más agradables. Por ejemplo, Podéis ir fuera de temporada a lugares pintorescos por lo que gastaréis menos dinero. Además, probéis diferentes maneras de buscar alojamientos baratos pero de calidad y billetes de aviones que están rebajados de precio. En algunos lugares le ofrecerán un descuento para la reserva de viaje y hotel conjunto para poder ahorrar más.

Run on the treadmill during midweek and schedule your interval workouts for the days you need to exercise at work.

Muere el rey de comedia de Filipinas - Rodolfo Vera Quizon Sr.

El rey de comedia y taquilla del cine filipino, Dolphy ha fallecido tras una batalla por más de un mes contra las complicaciones causadas por una neumonía severa, enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica e insuficiencia renal aguda, según han confirmado sus familiares y fallecido a los 83 años. El el actor cómico se había sometido a un tratamiento y fue ingresado en el hospital de Makati Medical Center.

Rodolfo Vera Quizon Sr nació el 25 de julio de 1928. El es más conocido artísticamente como Dolphy. Es un actor cómico filipino que vivió en Manila. Con más de 6 décadas, Dolphy realizó más de 300 películas y programas de televisión, se había consolidado como uno de los intérpretes más requeridos de su generación.

El 8 de noviembre 2010, Dolphy recibió un premio que es el rango más alto como Orden del Corazón de Oro en el Palacio de Malacañang, Manila. Dolphy fue acompañado de su pareja Zsa Zsa Padilla. El Presidente de Filipinas Benigno S. Aquino III le otorgó el rango, llamado el Gran Collar  ó Marangal na Kuwintas porque  según  el presidente filipino, Dolphy trajo alegría a millones de espectadores de la película filipina y del cine filipino.

La Orden del Corazón de Oro fue establecida en 1954 por el Presidente Ramón Magsaysay para reconocer los que hayan prestado servicios distinguidos o dado ayuda material digno de mención monetaria.

Parque de Rizal en Manila

Este parque es uno de los espacios verdes más grandes del sudeste asiático y es conocido por el nombre de Luneta, el cual es una de las principales atracciones turísticas de Manila. Los estanques de los jardines ornamentales contienen una recreación del archipiélago filipino. En este parque pueden visitar los jardínes japonés, chino y de orquídeas y la plaza del ajedrez. 

En el centro del parque se levanta el Santuario de Rizal, que contiene algunas reliquias del héroe como un trozo de su vértebra. El Parque de Rizal en Luneta esta localizado entre los museos y edificios públicos y cerca del parque esta situado el Museo del Pueblo Filipino y la Biblioteca Nacional de Filipinas. 

Por otro lado, los oficiales del Comité Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Parques de Filipinas han hecho un proyecto de remodelación del Parque Rizal y han construido una fuente con baile musical que mide 20 por 40 metros.

Para asegurar a los turistas de que el parque Rizal es un lugar seguro, el departamento del Comité Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Parques de Filipinas ha fortalecido la fuerza de seguridad del parque, que ahora consta de 10 policías y 60 guardias que trabajan en turnos de 24 horas. El vídeo fue grabado y emitido por la cadena de televisión española que demuestra la gente de Madrid que vive en Filipinas. También demuestra la cultura y la  lengua que existe en este país.

Doña Sofía ha llegado en Filipinas ya

Ayer la reina de España llegó a  Manila, la capital de Filipinas en una visita de Estado para supervisar varios proyectos del gobierno español a través de la Agencia Española de Cooperación para el Desarrollo (AECID) para renovar el compromiso de su país con el desarrollo de este archipiélago. 

La reina fue recibida a su llegada por la ministra filipina de Bienestar Social y Desarrollo, Corazón Soliman, y por el titular de Asuntos Exteriores, Albert del Rosario. Además, al final del día de ayer, el presidente de Estado filipino, Benigno Aquino, le dio una calurosa bienvenida a la reina Sofía en el palacio de Malacañang, donde dio un discurso y tuvo lugar un banquete oficial en su honor.

Doña Sofía visitará a las provincias de Albay y Zamboanga. Esta es la quinta visita de la reina a Filipinas desde 1995. Filipinas es una antigua colonia española que fue colonizada entre 1565 y 1898.

¡Felicidades a la Selección Española! Han hecho historia.

¿Y tú, dónde pasarás tu tiempo libre?

En primer lugar hay mucha gente hoy en día que prefiere pasar su tiempo libre con amigos para divertirse en su casa o en lugares públicos. Y todo depende de lo que a ellos les apetezcan hacer y querer. En realidad, ellos tienen todo derecho a eligir cualquier cosa que les guste hacer. Sin embargo, hay gente que a veces se reunen con sus amigos porque hay típicas fiestas organizadas en los lugares públicos o asisten a conciertos especialmente los jóvenes.

Por otra parte, estoy a favor de quedarse en casa con mis amigos por la razón de que podemos ahorrar dinero. De momento, atravesamos hoy en día una crisis económica y en consequecia debemos moderar los gastos. Además, si compramos la comida, dulces o alcohol en una tienda es más barato que en un restaurante o un bar.

En cualquier caso, a mí me gusta también pasar mi tiempo libre con mis amigos en lugares públicos como museos, parques, plazas, playas o centros comerciales para relajarme. De vez en cuando nos quedamos al aire libre para disfrutar los momentos buenos. Hacemos actividades físicas y deportivas al mismo tiempo suelo ir a los lugares tranquilos con mis amigos, donde hay un ambiente agradable.

En último lugar, me parece una idea estupenda estar con nuestros amigos ya sea en nuestra casa o en lugar público. Lo más importante es nuestra felicidad porque reunirse con mis amigos en casa o en lugar público tiene la desventaja o ventaja de que va a afectar a nuestra afección con ellos. En nuestra casa, tenemos más independencia y el ambiente es más relajado mientras cuando estamos al lugar público, tenemos más oportunidades de conocer nuevos amigos.

Nuevo periodismo

Esta tarde he podido asistir una conferencia en la Universidad de Filipinas que es organizada por Kapatiran Sandugo, la que habla a los nuevos medios y el nuevo periodismo. Los participantes de la conferencia son los estudiantes, los periodistas de Filipinas que se llaman Marites Vitug de Rappler, Roby Alampay de InterAksyon.com y dos venidos desde España que se llaman  Libertad Paloma de Cadena SER y Juan José Téllez de Canal Sur.

Por otra parte, la conferencia sirve como la clausura del proyecto Ventura de los Reyes, la cual es financiada por la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID).

La entrada es gratis, pero los asientos son limitados. 

World Vision Run 2012

The World vision is celebrating their 55th anniversary this year. Their main goal is to transform the lives of every out-of-school children from drop-outs to graduates. To gather more funds, they orgazined the first World Vision Fun Run and it was held this morning at the Bonifacio Global City. The event was hosted by Marc Nelson.

Since I would like to help in a little way to the less furtunate children, I decided to join. This morning before sunrise there was a good weather. At first, I warmed up before joining the race to avoid injuries. I was so happy that I finished running the 10K category eight minutes earlier than the previous run I had.

Dolphy - el rey de comedia y taquilla del cine filipino

Vamos a conocer más detalles sobre la vida del Rey de comedia del cine filipino. Rodolfo Vera Quizon Sr nació el 25 de julio de 1928. El es más conocido artísticamente como Dolphy. Es un actor cómico filipino que actualmente reside en Manila. Hoy con 84 años de edad, se ha consolidado como uno de los intérpretes más requeridos de su generación. Hasta ahora su carrera se prolonga con más de 5 décadas.

El rey de comedia es bien conocido de sus contribuciones a la industria del entretenimiento filipino que trabajó como actor en el teatro, la televisión, la radio y el cine.

El 8 de noviembre 2010, Dolphy recibió un premio que es el rango más alto como Orden del Corazón de Oro en el Palacio de Malacañang, Manila. Dolphy fue acompañado de su pareja Zsa Zsa Padilla. El Presidente de Filipinas Benigno S. Aquino III le otorgó el rango, llamado el Gran Collar o Marangal na Kuwintas porque segun el presidente, Dolphy ha traído alegría a millones de espectadores de la pelicula comedia.

La Orden del Corazón de Oro fue establecida en 1954 por el Presidente Ramón Magsaysay para reconocer los que hayan prestado servicios distinguidos o dado ayuda material digno de mención monetaria.

Reina Sofia visitará a Filipinas

La reina de la monarquía española, Su Majestad Reina Sofía vendrá a Filipinas el mes de julio 2012 para asistir algunas ceremonias según el diputado español Don Jorge Domecq. Así, ella visitará a las provincias de Albay y Zamboanga. 

La Reina Sofía va a comprobar los programas del gobierno español a través de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo que existen para fortalecer las relaciones económicas entre Filipinas y España. La última visita de la reina fue al año 2003.

El país de Filipinas fue colonizado por España entre 1565 y 1898.

Unilab - Run United 2

Earlier this morning, I ran the 10K category. It was a lot of fun even if it was raining. Since I want to upgrade myself in running, I'm planning to join the half marathon. But, opps!!! I haven't been doing any training & I don't want to injure myself. Perhaps I need to go to the gym since my next goal is very long run. Although I don't feel prepared at all, at least I'm looking forward that I can do it soon. Whew!!! I'm so excited and anxious about my new plan :D.

The Mind Museum

The museum features different interesting galleries that show stories of our universe, Philippine biodiversity, atom, earth & technology. It also provides different venues which were designed for conducting discussions, seminars and workshops. The Mind Museum is located at JY Campos Park, 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila. The museum is closed on Mondays. If you want to visit it, their operating hours are: Tuesdays to Sundays from 09:00 am to 9:00 pm

I like visiting museums and exhibits and few months ago, I planned to visit this museum however due to my tangled schedules, it didn't permit me to roam around. Finally, yesterday I had the opportunity to visit it because I was already at the Bonifacio Global City getting my Unilab race bib.

¿Y si viaja con los niños?

En este momento les cuento como viajar con niños. La temporada de vacaciones es el mejor momento para unirse a los niños. ¿Están pensando estar de vacaciones con sus hijos durante las fiestas sin que  ustedes quieran reventar sus presupuestos en un viaje largo? Pues, ahora es el momento perfecto para estar de vacaciones con sus hijos para que puedan pasar un tiempo especial como familia. A los niños les encanta la emoción de las vacaciones y la diversión llena de alegría y adventuras. La vinculación emocional con sus hijos tiene efectos secundarios a los viajes de placer. Uno de ellos es  disfrutar de tranquilidad durante los días festivos en tareas que no son rutinarias y  cuando hay tiempo para relajarse.

Durante las vacaciones, les aconsejo que ustedes disfruten participando en actividades con sus hijos para que mejoren sus relaciones mutuas porque de vez en cuando ustedes tienen horarios ajustados y estresantes. A pesar de que ustedes tienen horario apretado muchas veces, sin saberlo ustedes ignoran las expresiones de sus hijos que pueden originar conflicto. Asimismo, está bien que hagan ahorros para ir de vacaciones con ellos. Sin embargo, los planes de vacaciones no sólo deben incluir lujo sino que deben ser un elemento de relajación.

Visiten  sitios históricos que puedan ser atractivos como el Museo de Manila porque es necesario para que los niño sepan sobre nuestras artes y culturas. Quizá, incluyan viajes de aventura para añadir chispa al viaje al mismo tiempo que aprenden sobrevirir, apreciar y darse cuenta como la vida funciona mientras crecen. Tambien, es muy divertido crear vínculos con largos paseos por playas maravillosas bajo el sol y haciendo castillos de arena con ellos. Resulta que, es normal que parezcan estar más emocionadso con sus hijos cuando ustedes  hagan la misma manera de la diversión. Por lo tanto, saquen fotos de cada momento en que esten contentos. Las vacaciones son tiempos de comer, relejarse y encima quererse a ustedes mismos con sus niños.

Es logico que preparen los viajes para evitar fatigas y estres. Es esencial que hagan los arreglos necesarios, lleven la ropa adecuada y las cosas importantes cuando esten de vacaciones y sepan donde van a quedarse. También los viajes durante un  fin de semana a las islas cercanas y lugares de interés turístico son una idea excelente que ofrece una alternativa a los planes de vacaciones largas. Planeen una visita al jardín botánico o el parque acuático

Finalmente, los niños se emocionan con las vacaciones. Indiquen las fechas elegidas. El descanso compartido es importante para tener buena familia y relacion!
