Singapore Zoo

This morning I visited one of the zoological parks in Singapore to have a glimpse of rare species which were exhibited there. The animals roamed freely in open and natural habitats. These endangered animals were taken from various places of the world.

Currently these animals are being taken care of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. WRS dedicates their group in managing this world-class leisure attractions, fostering conservation and research while educating visitors about animals and their habitats.

The zoo is sub-divided into groups like Fragile Forest, Elephants of Asia, Australian Outback and the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia. In this zoo, there are 2,800 animals representing over 300 species representing the respective geographical region of the world.

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Mahatma Gandhi
